The Right People

LinkUp is not a golf-booking service and not a discount tee-time marketplace. It is a business-networking platform for golfers.

Golf skill is far less important than business relevance and character alignment with the group’s purpose.

For that reason, we vet each new member and structure fees to emphasize the value of membership rather than the profitability of individual events.

The Right Venue

LinkUp started its journey from The Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, California, which is arguably the most beautiful golf resort in San Diego.

That starting point sets our standard for course quality, service, ambiance, and amenities. Every resort or club added to the network must meet that bar.

LinkUps take place at venues members are proud to invite guests to and eager to play regularly—places where on-course connections naturally extend into business and personal life off the course.

Relationship-Building Structures

LinkUps are not competitions; they are relationship launch pads. Our event formats prioritize inclusiveness over scoring.

Each LinkUp begins with introductions, includes structured foursome shuffles to maximize connections, and ends with a group table for optional drinks or dinner.

After the event, every participant receives contact information for all players.

Our “voluntary scramble” format allows strong players to play their own ball while enabling any participant to drop next to another player’s shot at any time.

This removes performance pressure, improves pace of play, and allows newer golfers to enjoy the course while receiving encouragement and guidance.

To support these outcomes, we enforce four simple rules:

1. Don’t be late

2. Don’t be slow

3. Don’t get angry

4. Be present (get off your phone)

While LinkUp member events are curated, there is intentional serendipity in who attends which LinkUp.

Roll Out Strategy

We will scale through a network of Ambassadors, who are members of approved clubs or resorts and well connected within their local business communities. Ambassadors will work with us to recruit local members, host LinkUps, and help deliver our business services first nationally, and, ultimately, globally.
