LinkUp was built around a simple idea: When the right people spend meaningful time together, relationships form naturally. With intentional curation, the network improves over time. That creates better outcomes for everyone involved.

The Right People

LinkUp is not a golf-booking service and not a discount tee-time marketplace. It is a community for business builders who golf.

Golf skill is far less important than business and character alignment with the group’s purpose.

For that reason, we vet each new member and structure fees to emphasize continued membership rather than the profitability of individual events.

The Right Venue

LinkUp started its journey from The Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, California, which we believe is the most beautiful golf resort in San Diego.

That starting point sets our standard for course quality, service, ambiance, and amenities. This sets our standard for venues our members are proud to invite guests to and eager to play regularly and where on-course connections naturally extend into business and personal life relationships off the course.

Relationship-Building Structures

LinkUps are not competitions; they are relationship launch pads. Our event formats prioritize inclusiveness over scoring.

Each LinkUp begins with introductions, includes structured foursome shuffles to maximize connections, and ends with a group table for optional drinks or dinner.

After the event, every participant receives contact information for all players.

Our “voluntary scramble” format allows strong players to play their own ball while enabling any participant to drop their ball next to another player’s shot at anytime.

This removes performance pressure, improves pace of play, and allows newer golfers to enjoy the course while receiving encouragement and guidance.

Member events & Value Added Services

While LinkUp member events are curated, there is intentional serendipity in who attends which LinkUp.

We created LinkUp Golf Services to provide more targeted introductions in a range of formats. See the LinkUp Golf Services site for our currently available services and formats.

Roll Out Strategy

We will scale through a network of hosts, who are members of approved clubs or resorts and well connected within their local business communities. Hosts will work with us to recruit local members, host LinkUps, and help deliver our business services first nationally, and, ultimately, globally.

Our Why

In this age of AI and deep fakes, people are rightfully suspicious of everything they see online and crave genuine experiences and authentic relationships.

AI can't golf (yet).

Golf is a purely human experience that enables people to come to know, like, and trust new people in an age when "social networks" have made us less social and Artificial Intelligence overrides our emotional intelligence.

LinkUp Golf's purpose is to enable people to connect authentically, bring balance to their work life, and develop relationships that can drive their business or career forward in the process.
